Work

Built out Noon’s in-house events department, working with other teams to promote marketing strategies & initiatives through the events department. Hosting at least 2 activations per month across 4 markets, the events department organized a variety of events from major food festival appearances & demonstrations to fine dining pop-ups to campaign-specific tasting & branding events. In addition to the development of the in-house events department.

Developed an influencer marketing program known as Taste Buds and created a strategic guest engagement program called Mind Blowers to improve guest relations & recovery.

This work resulted in:

  • 17% increase in restaurant sales
  • Featured in Restaurant Development & Design
  • 10 partner blog posts
  • Partnerships with local brands such as Austin Food & Wine Festival, Saint Arnold's Brewing Company, Yelp Elite, and Deep Ellum Brewery

TEAM AUSTIN

MARKETING, EVENTS & Content writing

Team Austin Foundation seeks to foster greater access to technology and entrepreneurship for future leaders in underrepresented communities. Team Austin is a non-profit organization, developing Austin's entrepreneurial community through education, networking, scholarships and volunteerism.

The Team Austin Foundation is a501(c)(3) organization accredited by the IRS. The fund provides scholarships to code schools or design schools for low-income individuals, with a special focus on underrepresented communities in tech jobs, including women, people of color, and at-risk youth.

Through partnerships with nonprofits and government agencies, they pilot programs to create pathways for underserved populations into high-wage, 21st century, in-demand jobs in technology, business, data, and design.

 

Work

Upon being elected to the Board of Team Austin in 2015,  I have worked with my fellow Board Members to develop and structure Team Austin's board election process, develop a membership program, launch our 501 C 3, create an online strategic marketing plan, and expand our yearly events. We currently host one event a month that ranges from a networking happy hour to a Speaker Series event that invites local business professionals to come speak on a topic and share their knowledge with our members.  

This work resulted in:

  • 50% increase in event attendance
  • 30% increase in memberships
  • A 15 person board structure with incorporated bylaws, election processes and roles and responsibilities 
  • Partnerships with companies such as Google Fiber, WeWork, and SXSW
  • A 501 (c) (3) scholarship foundation that provides scholarships to code schools or design schools for low-income individuals, with a special focus on underrepresented communities in tech jobs, including women, people of color, and at-risk youth

Texas Trophy Hunters needed 3,000 pre-existing online articles to be optimized by creating long-tail keywords, meta descriptions and titles, summaries, and images for each article to be converted to their new website platform.

Since 2004, Credit Security Group has served consumers nationwide, educating them on how the credit system works and how to use this knowledge to improve their scores.

Credit Security Group reached out to me to generate more online exposure. They were already a successful and growing business that worked off of a B2B referral plan but had yet to tap into their online client marketing potential.

Since 2014 I have developed and managed their social channels including Yelp, Facebook, and LinkedIn, developed a client review process to increase online visibility and SEO, and acted as the online marketing consultant. 

This work has resulted in:

Corrective Chiropractic serves the Bee Caves/Lakeway/Travis County areas providing chiropractic consolations, adjustments, x-rays, and chiropractic biophysics.

Work

I created face to face event marketing campaigns to gain exposure and increase sales within the community. Leading this initiative, I set up health screenings in local business and gyms. The screenings involved onsite set up, services education, health analysis and screenings, and face-to-face sales. In addition to the health screenings I built relationships with local businesses by executing door to door sales, offering health and wellness talks for their employees featuring a catered lunch. 

This work has resulted in:

  • Increased sales by 40%
  • 30% client conversion rate
